We are looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team at Cranleigh Scientific. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing Policies and Procedures: You will develop and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Conducting Site Visits: You will conduct regular site visits to monitor and audit our health, safety, and environmental practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Preparing Reports: You will prepare and circulate regular reports to stakeholders, including the Managing Director, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

As a seasoned SHEQ Manager, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the duties of a CDM coordinator as stipulated by CDM Regulations. You will also be responsible for delivering new starter inductions and conducting toolbox talks to promote safety awareness.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a full-time Health, Safety, and Environmental role.
  • Membership of IOSH at Cert IOSH level (or equivalent).
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
