About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV driver to join our Transport Team at Booker Distribution Fareham. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers' stores.

The role requires handball and manual work, which can be physically demanding. You will need to work outside in adverse weather conditions and handball product at some delivery points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver stock to independent retailers' stores
  • Work in a team environment to achieve delivery targets
  • Ensure the safe handling and storage of goods
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, including manual handling and working outside in adverse weather conditions

Requirements

  • Class 2 Licence Holder
  • Driver CPC Holder
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Experience of multi-drop; temperature-controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential
  • Available to work 45 hours a week (overtime available)
