This is a full-time position for a 6-month maternity cover, working 4 days a week with a rotational day off. The successful candidate will join the pain procedure room team at the pain management centre, working as a member of the pain multi-disciplinary team.
About the RoleThe post holder will be responsible for coordinating the pain list for non-sedated patients, recovering patients, and supporting pain procedures. They will work underpinned by evidence-based practice, maintaining clinical excellence and theatre experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assess care needs of patients, plan programmes of care, and implement and evaluate these programmes without direct supervision.
- Deliver care within a day care procedure room, providing nursing support to the medical team in the delivery of pain management interventions.
- Ensure patients are treated with respect and dignity, delivering high standards of nursing care.
