We are seeking a talented Clinical Audit Lead to join our team in Basildon. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex health needs.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support and assess Continuing Care applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing high-quality care plans that cater to individual needs.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Offer expert clinical advice to stakeholders on continuing care cases.
  • Assist Social Workers in completing Continuing Care Checklists, ensuring adherence to high standards.
  • Effectively communicate complex case information to ensure informed care planning.
  • Participate in panels such as Multi-Agency Resource Forums, providing clinical guidance and referrals to additional health services when necessary.
  • Conduct audits of care plans to assess service efficacy and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with health and social care partners to maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative changes and Department of Health guidance to guarantee policy relevance.

About You

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

  • A valid RGN/RMN qualification and current NMC registration, along with evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience or knowledge in assessing NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC).
  • A proven track record of working with multiple stakeholders across public and private healthcare sectors.
  • A full UK driving license or alternative mobility arrangements to meet job requirements.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
