Marine Ecology Expert Professional

We are seeking an experienced Marine Ecology Expert Professional to join our team at AECOM. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the delivery of high-profile marine projects that require advanced scientific practices, theories, and technologies. Your ability to provide technical advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders will be essential in ensuring successful project outcomes.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with specialists from various fields, including underwater acoustics, coastal processes, water scientists, and marine archaeologists. Together, you will develop innovative solutions for complex marine challenges and improve environmental outcomes.
Your experience in preparing and reviewing specialist technical chapters and associated impact assessments will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and delivering high-quality results. With a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, you will contribute to the development of technical proposals and business development strategies.
With a recognized degree in a relevant discipline and ideal professional membership (CIEEM or similar), you will have a deep understanding of the marine consenting and licensing regimes across the UK. Your ability to work effectively with key regulatory bodies, including the MMO, NRW, Scottish MD, and The Crown Estate, is crucial in ensuring successful project delivery.
Estimated salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
