Job Title: Advocacy Counselor

Join Bryn Mawr College as an Advocacy Counselor and play a critical role in supporting child victims of crime and their families. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with law enforcement, district attorneys, and other community groups to provide comprehensive services and ensure a consistent network of support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to child victims and their families
  • Coordinate referrals for crisis-intervention and counseling services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations
  • Assist with court education, support, and accompaniment
  • Provide updates on case status and continuances
  • Conduct ongoing follow-up contact with families
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in social services, psychology, or related field
  • Three years' experience in child advocacy or a related field
  • Valid PA driver's license and insurance
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written skills
