Classroom Support Role at Venesky-Brown
**Job Summary**
Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a Classroom Support worker to provide assistance to learners in a classroom setting. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, approximately 2-3 days per week, and will be responsible for supporting learners to access the curriculum.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide classroom support to enable learners to access the curriculum
* Monitor learner support needs and organise technical/classroom support to meet service requirements
* Liaise with teaching staff to facilitate student learning
* Support learners in the use of equipment and assistive software
* Contribute to the maintenance of statistics to support monitoring, review and evaluation of the service provided by the College
**Requirements**
* Previous experience of working with people with disabilities or other support needs
* Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Experience of note taking
