Job Title: Industrial Electrician

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Search in Glasgow. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role also offers opportunities for continued personal development through training and skill enhancement.

Key Accountabilities

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Performing planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment issues to restore functionality.

You will work closely with the Maintenance and Facilities Leader to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully qualified as an electrician with 18th Edition BS 7671 certification.
  • Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems in a manufacturing environment.
