About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales and Purchasing Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and target sales figures.
  • Purchasing Process Optimization: Manage and optimize the purchasing process to ensure timely acquisition of materials at competitive prices.
  • Operational Procedures: Develop and implement new operational procedures for the purchasing and sales offices, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supplier Management: Assign purchase orders to suppliers with predetermined deadlines and ensure precise and on-time deliveries.
  • Team Support: Provide holiday cover for sales and purchasing administrators and support with new projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a sales and purchasing leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft 365 and experience with using SAP.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
