Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £50 per hour

Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (on a rota basis)

Job Description:

As a Registered General Nurse, you will be working under the guidance of an experienced and well-respected manager, delivering high standards of care to mainly elderly service users with a range of general nursing needs. You will create and work with person-centred-care plans, accurately and thoroughly maintaining service users' records, administering medication, monitoring and assessing the needs of the service users, leading a team of carers who are working under your guidance, and liaising with outside professionals.

Requirements:

  • Nurse qualified (ideally RGN or RMN qualified)
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Clean DBS and good references
  • Aware of the core care standards required to work within a nursing home setting
  • Ideally experienced within a nursing home background
  • Exceptional standards and a willingness to put the care of the residents at the forefront of everything that is done
  • Professional attitude to your work
  • Reliable, committed to your nursing and able to evidence strong personal standards
  • Experience of caring for people with dementia
