Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a long-term project at a dairy facility in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on an ongoing project within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems within a dairy processing facility.
  2. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery.
  3. Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently to meet production demands.
  4. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  5. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally with FMCG or food & beverage facility experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including conveyors, pumps, and processing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
