We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our English and Maths department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a wide range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-class support for individuals and small groups to ensure students have the opportunity to maximize their learning potential.
- Work closely with course lecturers to ensure students are successfully included in the college environment.
- Support students with their identified provision in line with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Assist students with their physical needs, mobility, and health and safety as appropriate.
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C or Equivalent Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
- An ability to interact professionally with young people.
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent administrative capabilities, including accurate record keeping.
- Pension fund of up to 27.1% per annum.
- Regular training and development opportunities.
