About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Central London.

  • This is a challenging opportunity on a £40M cut & carve project, requiring strong commercial skills and expertise.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Design Team to ensure that all project specifications are met.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and any issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.
  • Lead pre-award meetings with subcontractors to clarify expectations and ensure smooth communication.
  • Oversee the administration of contracts and manage subcontractor relationships to maintain a positive working relationship.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented, providing transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement effective cash flow forecasts to ensure the project stays within budget and delivers value to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Quantity Surveying degree
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience
  • Strong understanding of specifications and drawings
  • Expertise in extracting quantities and issuing inquiries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quantity Surveying software
  • Proven track record in Commercial/Residential Projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
