Maintenance Coordinator Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Coordinator Lead to join our facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our facilities, ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and services are properly maintained and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Compliance and Security Manager with the management of company facilities to meet quality, environmental, security, and health and safety standards.
- Act as the point of contact for facility-related inquiries and issues, providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Receive, prioritize, and coordinate responses to facility-related service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Maintain an approved contractor and supplier list in relation to facilities, liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements and company policies.
- Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and facility-related data.
- Conduct routine site safety and quality audits, reporting any hazards or issues found.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and report on the usage of electricity, gas, and water at our facilities, ensuring that environmental objectives are being met.
- Compile meaningful statistics and conduct trend analysis on data relevant to the nature of the business and operations.
- Assist in the coordination of site evacuation drills and fire alarm testing regime, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a facilities coordinator or similar role, preferably in sites with warehouse, vehicle workshops, and third-party tenant occupancy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis and presentation.
- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
Location: SL3 0HQ (with occasional travel to other sites)
