We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at the Spinal Injuries Treatment Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with spinal cord injuries.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the care needs of patients, creating and implementing individualized care plans, and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in spinal injury rehabilitation and contribute to the development of our team's practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Provide high-quality care to patients with spinal cord injuries, including wound management, pressure ulcer prevention, and respiratory care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Contribute to the development of our team's practice, including the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines
- NMC registration and PIN number
- Evidence of Personal and Professional Development
- Experience of working within a rehabilitation setting
- Evidence of mentorship training
