Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per year, along with an early Friday finish and other benefits including a company pension scheme and ongoing training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections of welded structures to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Perform dye penetrant and chemical inspections (NPI) to detect defects or flaws in welding processes.
  • Carry out MPI inspections and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
  • Provide detailed reports on inspection results and suggest corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in welding inspection, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Trained in Dye Pen and Chemi inspections (NPI), with MPI training.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of identifying welding defects.
