Role Overview:

This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to support the operational delivery of webcasting services in Chester. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications and Democratic Services teams to train and upskill them in webcasting and digital operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating websites through content management systems, creating web pages, and leading webcasts. They should also be familiar with evaluating digital platforms and using analytical tools.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the delivery of webcasting services, including virtual, in-person, and hybrid meetings
  2. Train and upskill the Communications and Democratic Services teams in webcasting and digital operations
  3. Provide regular reports on webcasting, including viewing figures
  4. Create reports on digital channels for other members of the Communication Team
  5. Create and maintain content on the website

Requirements:

  • Experience in operating websites through content management systems
  • Creation of web pages experience
  • Background in leading webcasts
  • Experience of evaluating digital platforms and using analytical tools
  • GCSE English C
  • GCSE Maths C

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time role working Monday to Friday (18:00 - 21:00) for three months. The estimated salary for this role is £14,139 per annum based on 15 hours of work per week.
