About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at MARS Recruitment. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and instruments for our client's cutting-edge laser detection and monitoring technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and instruments to meet product requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing, service, and installation needs
  • Plan and manage deliverables to meet project timelines
  • Select and manage suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Design and document prototype and instrument testing to meet mechanical requirements
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in design for manufacture, service, and support. You should have a BEng or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in a relevant industry. Experience in CAD packages, particularly Solid Works, is essential. You should also have experience in supplier selection and management, prototyping using 3D printers, and testing against regulations.
