About the Role

As a Year 2 Teacher at our primary school in Tamworth, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students. With a focus on individualized learning, you will create engaging lesson plans and deliver instruction that meets the needs of every student.

We seek a qualified teacher with QTS Status and experience working within a key stage 1 setting, preferably in a Year 2 class. Strong communication skills, a nurturing approach, and adaptability in teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles are essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  2. Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  3. Deliver instruction that meets the needs of all learners.
  4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one).
  • Be registered on the DBS Update Service.
  • Possess references covering the last two years.
  • Have completed all necessary safeguarding checks.
Benefits

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, based on experience, training, or qualifications.
