Job Title: Clinical Neuropsychologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist Consultant to join our team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. As a key member of our Clinical Neuropsychology service, you will be responsible for leading and developing Neuropsychology services for patients affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), as well as contributing to the Epilepsy Surgery Programme and other Neurology/Neuro-surgery sub-specialties.

About the Role
  • Lead and develop a range of inpatient and outpatient TBI Neuropsychology services
  • Provide evidence-based inpatient and outpatient Neuropsychology Assessments
  • Contribute to TBI ward-rounds, MDT meetings, and TBI Clinics, including a Sports Concussion Clinic
  • Contribute to pre-, peri-, and post-surgical assessments for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy

Requirements
  • Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training course in clinical psychology
  • Experience of leading and developing Neuropsychology services
  • Advanced skills in psychological assessment and formulation
  • Ability to deliver established/evidenced-based psychological therapy to fidelity
