A market leading organisation, the Octagon Group, is looking to expand their design team in Cambridge. This company designs and manufactures fire detection technologies that are sold across the UK. Due to growth, they require a Principal Electronics Design Engineer to become a key member of their development department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping, and bench testing
  • Main initial point of contact for electronics
  • Produce work plans for the team, engineering reports, and operating manuals

This is a hybrid job with approximately 3-4 days per week on site, depending on project work taking place. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £80,000 - £110,000 per year, depending on experience.
