We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to join our team at Cameron Clarke Associates. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our retail operations, including sales, customer service, and team management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Sales and Revenue: Meet sales targets, increase sales and profit for the shop, and actively recruit, line manage and support shop volunteers to maximise sales and revenue for participating charities.
- Team Management: Communicate and work effectively with other shop managers to ensure day-to-day operations are met, and manage the set-up processes of the shop, including the processing of deliveries and reporting of discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, support the marketing team with activities to raise the profile of the shop and organisation in the local community, and take responsibility for rotas to ensure the shop is always operational within its agreed opening hours.
- Stock Management: Manage stock levels, replenishing accordingly and liaising with Regional Manager to request top-ups of stock, and set up the EPOS system and train volunteers accordingly.
- Cash Handling: Responsible for cash handling, reconciling EPOS and all banking procedures.
- Experience: Experience across customer-facing environments, experience of working under own initiative within an established commercial framework, and organisational skills.
- Leadership: Able to lead a team of people with passion and enthusiasm, offering support to the team as needed, demonstrating appropriate leadership and desired behaviours.
- Commercial Awareness: Commercial awareness and ability to make decisions to drive revenue, and ability to communicate with a variety of people at different levels.
- Customer Service: Understands excellent customer service and can act as an ambassador for our client in their local community.
