Civils Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team at M Group Services Limited T/A Morrison Telecom Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the day-to-day operational duties of field engineers and ensure quality service delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of field engineers, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. They will work closely with regional coordinators to plan and coordinate tasks, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance supplier performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating a structured approach to supervision, coaching, and guidance of field operatives.
  • Collaborating with regional coordinators to develop and implement project plans, allocating resources, and ensuring dependencies are met.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of works within the region, adhering to safety, quality, and commercial requirements.
  • Identifying areas for improvement among suppliers and providing constructive feedback to the management team.
  • Supporting the delivery of business unit KPIs by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance supplier performance.
  • Engaging with stakeholders within the customer base at an operational level.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a process-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working at a senior supervisory level within the telecoms industry or similar utilities.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
