Technical Draftsperson

About The Role
The Electronics Group is seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Technician to join their team in the UK. This role involves creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD for electrical systems, including small power, lighting, and fire detection systems. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment and be responsible for producing detailed lighting calculation reports and assisting with the production of drawings on-site.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD for electrical systems, including small power, lighting, and fire detection systems.
- Create drawings for estimating, working designs, and As-Builts based on templates provided.
- Make site visits (UK-wide) to assist with the production of drawings as necessary.
- Attend and/or arrange design meetings in person, via telephone, or through video conferencing.
- Use Dialux software to produce lighting designs and undertake lighting design calculations, including 3D modeling.

Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design.
- Strong communication skills, both internal and external.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Willingness to undertake training in Emergency Lighting Design and Fire Detection and Alarm design.
- Hold a valid driving license.

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
