We are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to provide support to a Primary School in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and be able to adapt their support methods to various age groups.

The role will involve supporting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant and working with groups of children. The successful candidate will have excellent curriculum knowledge and be able to manage behavior effectively.

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with no set days, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated consultant who will support you throughout the clearance process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Teacher with the lesson
  • Assisting students with their learning, particularly those who require additional support
  • Support groups of children or 1:1 support
  • Show excellent curriculum knowledge
  • Manage behavior effectively
  • Promote and nurture independence
  • Build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
