Science Educator

Job Summary

Empowering Learning is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including leading on your own GCSE groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and progressive learning experiences to students in Science
• Provide specialist subject expertise to assist departmental staff, as appropriate
• Support the school in implementing agreed whole school policies and initiatives
• Plan and facilitate professional learning workshops as requested
• Hold a teaching qualification and degree or equivalent
• Have outstanding teaching practice, excellent behavior management, and experience of lesson observations and giving robust feedback
• Have experience of improvement planning, implementing strategies to raise student achievement, and contributing to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum
• Have a proven track record of excellent results at KS3/4 and experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices

Requirements

• Hold a teaching qualification and degree or equivalent
