Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Protea Care Children. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting their development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for our young people, meeting their physical and emotional needs.
- Engage in recreational activities and educational programs to promote the children's development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Develop individualized care plans based on each child's unique needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Provide leadership to junior staff and be a positive role model.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's relevant professional experience working with young people in a residential setting.
- A Level 4 Diploma in Children & Young People Practitioner (or equivalent) or be close to completing it.
- A full clean manual driving licence held for at least 1 year.

- Annual salary between £25,380- £28,100 working up to 40 hours a week PLUS an annual sleep allowance of between £2,980 and £4,960.
