Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Central Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the appropriation, specification, design, and scope of capital projects across our entire group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of onsite project requirements from inception to completion.
  • Lead and manage manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental legislation.
  • Oversee project budgeting and timeline adherence and ensure all milestones are met.
  • Supervise multidisciplinary teams, including maintenance staff and external contractors, ensuring compliance with our standards and legal regulations.
Requirements:
  • A degree or equivalent experience in an Automated Engineering environment.
  • Experience in automated manufacturing, ideally in the kitchen or woodworking sector.
  • Knowledge of European Machinery Safety Standards and NEBOSH qualification (or willingness to attain).
  • Strong decision maker with a successful track record in Engineering and Project Management for a large organisation.
