About the Role
Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled Maintenance Service Technician to join their team in Solihull. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality and efficient maintenance service to the company's corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general electrical fault-finding repairs, plumbing repairs including leak repairs, painting and decorating of office areas, and basic carpentry tasks.
- Change/repair locks, equipment repair/maintenance, internal and external building repairs, and PAT testing of electrical appliances.
- Carry out reactive maintenance tasks as required and ensure tickets are accurately recorded and responded to within the service level time scales.
Requirements
- A proven track record working in a maintenance team environment.
- NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical installation or NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent qualification in plumbing and water systems.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to provide a good level of support to colleagues and customers, and excellent organisational skills.
- Able to work within Health & Safety guidelines and carry out general maintenance work including plumbing tasks.
What We Offer
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £35,000+ per annum, paid bi-weekly. The role also offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development and progression within the company.
