Job Title: Associate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London. As a key member of our Building Services department, you will be responsible for delivering projects and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and act as a deputy for the Regional Director, taking responsibility for the leadership, management, and performance of assigned projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in Mechanical Engineering and Building Services.
  • Build and sustain a strong network of industry contacts, and actively participate in relevant events.
  • Contribute to the management of both technical and commercial aspects of all projects.
  • Establish and uphold high technical standards.
  • Review and approve work produced by others to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety and IMS procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified Chartered Engineer in a relevant field, or an Engineer with lower qualifications and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound judgment.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated, with a commitment to continuous skill development.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
  • Ability to apply technical expertise to analyse problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of leading and motivating teams by setting a positive example.
  • Dependable and responsible in your approach to work.
