About the Company:
RADIOACTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our nuclear waste management project. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient disposal of radioactive waste, and we are looking for someone with expertise in managing large-scale civil construction projects.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of our Repository Capping project, from planning to completion. This will involve managing a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, preferably in the nuclear or civil engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of contractor to ensure compliance with the CDM Regulations
  • Maintenance of a safe working environment
  • Review and comment on the contractor's construction proposals
  • Monitoring and holding the contractor to account in delivery of the scope of work

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum

About You:
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years' experience in managing large-scale civil construction projects, preferably in the nuclear or civil engineering sectors. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in health and safety, project management, and technical delivery. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field would be an advantage.
