About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at First Base in Nailsworth. As a key member of our production department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

This full-time position offers a salary of £27,500 per annum and requires experience in TIG, MIG, and fabrication, with a focus on specialist welding of stainless steel and aluminium structures. You will work closely with the supervisor to produce high-quality products and meet the required standards and quality as defined by drawings, written instructions, and direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Finishing weld runs on fabricated assemblies.
  • Specialist TIG welding on stainless steel and/or aluminium structures, pipework, and components.
  • Purged back pipe welding on sch 10 stainless steel pipe to ASME IX standard.
