Job Title: Data Protection Administrator

At Reward Gateway, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Protection Administrator to join our team. As a Data Protection Administrator, you will be responsible for handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) across Edenred and Reward Gateway UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs): Act as the primary point of contact for SARs, ensuring all requests are handled within the legal time frame.
  • Coordinate Across Technical Systems: Liaise with system owners to gather necessary data for SARs, ensuring accurate and complete data retrieval.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient SAR processing.
  • Data Protection Advice: Provide advice on data protection matters, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training with the opportunity to gain a Privacy qualification.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of SARs and related activities, providing reports to the Data Protection Manager.
  • Process Improvement: Seek ways to improve SAR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clear and effective written and verbal communication, adapting to various audiences and contexts
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain meticulous records and documentation
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders as required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of confidentiality and ethical behaviour in data handling
  • Commitment to staying updated on the latest data protection regulations and best practices

  • First stage interview with Data Protection Manager and Data Protection Officer
  • Final Interview with Group Data Protection Officer
