Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant - Early Years

Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Nursery school in Brent, London. This is a long-term supply role with up to 40 hours per week, offering a unique opportunity to work with children in the Early Years setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to children in the Early Years, adhering to the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and execute enriching activities to enhance student learning and development.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members.
  • Identify and address the additional support needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school is required.
  • A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
