Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team and production staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plant and equipment to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our equipment and systems, including PLCs, VSDs, and ABB machinery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Adhere to site health and safety procedures and report any risks or incidents via our internal reporting process.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Requirements:

  • Time-served engineer with experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Recognized engineering qualification, such as HNC/HND/ONC/OND.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical bias.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding and Siemens S7 systems.
  • Knowledge of VSDs and ABB machinery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
