Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc or postgraduate diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate training relevant to the clinical area, demonstrated by ongoing CPD and reflective practice

Desirable qualifications include postgraduate qualifications specific to neonatal care, such as the Prechtl General Movement Assessment or LAPI certification.

You should have extensive postgraduate experience in neonatal physiotherapy and a strong background in general paediatrics, including experience in Acute Respiratory/PICU, Neurology, Community, MSK, and Rehab.

Suitable candidates will possess specialist knowledge of paediatric and neonatal conditions, including neurology, respiratory management, orthopaedics, and early intervention for high-risk and preterm infants.

Experience working in the NHS and understanding its structure and current issues is essential.
