**Senior Planning Officer Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Officer to join our team at the City & County of Swansea.

The successful candidate will be responsible for playing a key role in driving forward our ambitious planning and placemaking agenda, working on a diverse range of projects that shape future development in Swansea and deliver positive outcomes for people and nature.

With a competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a wide range of benefits, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development, this is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified planner to take their career to the next level.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Drive forward key projects for Swansea, including preparation of the replacement Local Development Plan (LDP) and associated planning guidance
  • Work with key stakeholders and partners to facilitate the delivery of schemes promoted by the LDP
  • Undertake strategic planning research and assessments

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
