Calibre Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading EICA design projects from conception to implementation, developing innovative solutions for flood risk management and environmental projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the growth of the MEICA team.

About the Role
  • Lead EICA design projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Develop and implement innovative, low-carbon solutions for flood risk management and environmental projects
  • Mentor and support junior staff in their professional development
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the MEICA team
About You
  • Chartered or Incorporated member of the IET
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience in industrial electrical installations, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems
  • Proficiency in design software such as Amtech/Trimble ProDesign, Dialight, and Revit
  • In-depth knowledge of BS7671:2018 and current regulatory standards
  • Experience with Safety in Design and CDM regulations
  • Familiarity with pumping stations and water-related infrastructure
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
