Lead Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Assessment team in Barnet, London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable adults.

• Provide expert advice and guidance to social workers on complex cases
• Lead and manage a team of social workers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes for service users
• Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless service provision
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in social work

• Proven experience as a senior social worker in a safeguarding or assessment team
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, service users, and stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context

• A competitive salary range of £42,000 - £47,805 per annum
