Assistant Management Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team at Si Recruitment. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management information, including financial reports and analysis.
  • Responsible for month-end accounting, including journal postings, P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and budgets.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and providing support to tax advisers for corporation tax returns.
  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and managing audit processes for Group Companies.
  • Identifying and delivering process improvements and introducing controls where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • AAT qualified or similar is ideal.
  • Experience of working with a group of companies is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
