Job Overview

ISG is seeking a skilled Project Planning Specialist to provide planning and programme requirements for pharmaceutical construction projects in Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees. The successful candidate will promote good planning practices to internal and external customers and contribute to the effective running of projects and the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, effective, and professional planning services for proposals and project delivery within the division.
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the department and manage project planners as required.
  • Provide clear and concise delivery planning services to projects, including preparing look ahead programmes pictorially and inputting data into production management systems.
  • Liaise with clients and external planning consultants and lead programme meetings whether internally or presenting to clients.
  • Set up end to end programmes from appointment to commissioning and close out, and establish auditable trails of programmes.
  • Collate and validate project progress and report to the Project Management Team.

Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in construction, such as a degree in Construction Management.
  • Excellent construction and fit out knowledge in terms of architectural construction detail and the installation and commissioning sequences of M&E services.
  • Experience of construction projects for the Pharmaceutical industry and the ability to demonstrate these through sound programming and sequencing on a range of projects and proposals.
  • Proven understanding of planning and rescheduling techniques, the full project cycle, and different forms of procurement.
  • Software operations relevant to the job role, including Primavera6.
