About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work independently, managing your time and workload effectively
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 25kg)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Royal Mail's systems

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.54
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
