About the Role
As our Senior NPD Technologist, you will play a key role in nurturing and growing our CT skincare portfolio. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day product developments of next-generation innovative NPD, working closely with the Lead Skincare Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to ideating skincare NPD and future opportunities for the brand, focusing on science and industry-leading innovation.
- Manage cross-functional CPA projects, coordinating and delivering innovative and luxurious products on time and within budget.
- Display strong formulation and technical knowledge.
- Present project submissions, ingredients, and blue-sky product ideas to the Senior Leadership Team in an informative, visual, and inspiring presentation style.
- Analyze CT and industry skincare sales market data.
- Coordinate and track testing of supplier samples and NPD submissions within the team, collating valuable feedback and direction to review with the Lead Skincare Manager.
- Utilize knowledge of claims testing procedures and protocols.
- Maintain and build skincare supplier relationships on a daily basis.
- Work at pace and use initiative to keep momentum and find creative solutions when faced with challenges.
- Manage cost and negotiate with suppliers on all aspects of projects.
Who You Will Work With
- Reports into the Lead Skincare Manager.
- NPD, Quality, Regulatory, Packaging, Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
About You
- Technical background with skincare formulation, process, and manufacturing experience.
- Expertise in SPF developments.
- Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients and technologies.
- Strong project management CPA expertise.
- Highly organized and able to work on multiple complex projects.
- Strong research and presentation skills, with advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Confident and experienced in mentoring other team members.
- Adaptable, able to work to deadlines and changeable requirements.
- Experienced in managing day-to-day support tasks and presenting to senior team members.
- Willingness to provide technical support on cross-functional projects.
