About the Role
Job Summary
EG Group is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join their IT department. As a Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing robust security measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers.
- Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.
- Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.
- Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner.
- Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.
- Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.
- Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations.
- Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of the controls on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
- Understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cybersecurity threats.
- Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
- Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.
- Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cybersecurity projects.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate for success with key business stakeholders.
- Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
- Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).
- Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
