Job Summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider with four hospitals. As a Mechanical Craftperson, you will support Mechanical trades operations and maintenance work across the Trust's sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize work requirements to ensure efficient maintenance and repairs.
  • Contribute to Estates plans to maintain high-quality facilities.
  • Supervise maintenance assistants to ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively.


This role requires a full Driving Licence and the ability to work in a multi-skilled environment. The ideal candidate will have a recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering, experience with quality management systems, and knowledge of HTM's, HBN's, and Estates specific legislation. Additionally, they should be able to analyze data, carry out repairs, and use small tools.
