Children's Residential Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our team in Shrewsbury. This role involves providing support, encouragement, and mentoring to young people aged 14-17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and caring environment, encouraging independence and well-being, maintaining knowledge of individual care plans and guidelines, supporting challenging behaviour, and developing good relationships with staff and professionals. They will also protect children and young people from health and welfare risks.
This position requires a driving licence, age 22+, NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable), and experience working with children (desirable). Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
