About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Leader to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc.

Job Summary:

  • Lead financial controls and ensure robustness of accounting within GXO, providing visibility of results to customers through weekly and period reporting.
  • Confirm clarity of balance sheets across each area of the contract, presenting to customers and satisfying internal SOX requirements.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly customer reviews, producing periodic/monthly review packs.
  • Drive financial performance by working with the operational team to ensure maximum value is delivered in line with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective financial management processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, optimizing financial performance.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced finance management role, with a focus on contract management.
  • Expertise in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings, driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Possessing fully CIMA or ACCA qualification, or actively studying towards it.
