Job Title: Assistant Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a skilled and efficient finance professional to join our Finance team as Assistant Finance Manager.

The role involves assisting the Finance Manager in overseeing the accounting function within New Wine Trust, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of income reconciliations, expenditure, VAT and Management accounts.

You will have the opportunity to offer finance support to all departments and contribute to our programme of digital change, including a new database and websites.

The successful postholder will be expected to work alongside the digital project and implementation team on this important and exciting piece of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the accounting function
  • Manage income reconciliations, expenditure, VAT and Management accounts
  • Offer finance support to all departments
  • Contribute to the digital project and implementation team

Requirements:

  • Qualified to AAT Level 3 or 4 and/or part qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • At least three years accounting experience in a financial management environment
