About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations, ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment that meets customer expectations.
  • Coordinate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Take ownership of running duty shifts, guiding and supporting colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient store.
  • Monitor store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actions to enhance customer experience and colleague engagement.
  • Lead by example, setting a high standard for customer service, teamwork, and store appearance.

What We Offer

As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you'll enjoy a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. You'll also benefit from a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work fewer hours if desired.
