Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Disability Support Assistant to join our team in Garston, Liverpool. As a Learning Disability Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

Your role will involve supporting 3 adults with learning disabilities, one who has dementia, with all aspects of daily living, personal care, medication management, food preparation, money management, and accessing the community for activities they enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emotional support and building meaningful relationships
  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
  • Assisting with food preparation and money management
  • Accompanying individuals to community activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
